gift aid

IF YOU GIVE TO THE CHURCH, GIFT AID IT!

Gift Aid is a scheme designed to encourage the faithful to support the Church financially from every contribution they make without having to spend anything extra. The donor must be a taxpayer.He/She is expected to sign a Declaration Form so that all his/her donation to the charity (R.C. Diocese of Southwark) can be treated as a Gift Aid contribution. The donations can be of any amount, there is no lower or upper limit and they do not have to be of a fixed amount or frequency. By signing the forms, donors can ensure that the parishes get a substantial refund from the Inland Revenue without having to increase their level of giving.
